The documentary series “Projekt – Elektrownia” tells the story of people who work on the largest power plant demolition in the history of Poland. The 40-hectare “Adamów” power plant in Turek is a huge complex of buildings, chimneys, generators, halls, cold stores, warehouses, and turbines. They form a specific city within a city, which was teeming with life until the facility was closed, supplying electricity and heat to the city’s inhabitants. Today this investment is intended for demolition. Hard work, spectacular actions, or dangerous situations will be intertwined in the series with good humor and everyday life on the construction site and controlled, spectacular explosions or dismantling of several tons of metal structure will make it full of tension, dynamics, and action.
