In December 1991, a memorable meeting took place there, during which the heads of the Soviet Republics – Belarus, Ukraine, and Russia decided to dissolve the Soviet Union. The two-day convention in the Białowieża Forest, in Wiskuly, affected the lives of millions of people. What is it like to overthrow a great Empire from the inside? How many kilograms of meat do you need, how much salt and how much pepper? How many bottles of vodka, how many tons of fuel, how many birch twigs? How many cooks, how many hunters, and how many masseurs does it take? How the staff who took the most important guests for hunting remember those days? Or masseurs who worked in the sauna? How did the collapse of the USSR affect their lives? And what is the lesson for posterity from all this? We will answer these questions in our film.
